71. James Robert6 Farrell (Robert Plowden5, George N4, Noble Edward (Ferrell)3, John Edward (Ferrell)2, William (Ferril)1) was born in Washington, DC January 31, 1925.

He married twice. He married Grace Elizabeth Nichols in Wauwatosa, WI, July 27, 1946. Grace was born in Wauwatosa, WI January 17, 1925. Grace was the daughter of Elonzo Perry Nichols Jr. and Elsie Pauline Becherer. Grace died August 29, 2000 in Falls Church, VA, at 75 years of age. Grace died at home from lung cancer. The cancer was first discovered in January 1998. Later in the year, she underwent surgery, chemotherapy and radiation treatments. The cancer recurred in early 2000 when a tumor was found on her lower spine. She received additional radiation treatments which appeared to be successful; however, in July 2000 tests revealed the cancer had metastasized into her brain. She died 6 weeks after the doctor explained her condition. Her final weeks were peaceful and without pain. Her husband and family, supported by Hospice, cared for her.

Her body was interred September 2, 2000 in Falls Church, VA, National Memorial Cemetary. Grace's viewing and funeral service were at the National Gardens Baptist Church, Falls Church, VA. Music was provided by Bess Jones. The service was lead by Pastor Harry Cunningham, with readings and rememberances by Rev. Michael Bradley and Rev. Michael Gray.

At 22 years of age Grace became the mother of John Roy Farrell in Alexandria, VA, April 28, 1947. At 24 years of age Grace became the mother of James Robert Farrell Jr. in Washington, DC, March 10, 1949. At 27 years of age Grace became the mother of Margaret Grace Farrell in Arlington, VA, August 11, 1952. At 34 years of age Grace became the mother of Thomas Lee Farrell in Arlington, VA, April 27, 1959. Grace had successful surgery to remove lung cancer in May, 1998 followed by chemotherapy and radiation treatments He married an unknown person in Falls Church, VA, September 8, 2001.

At 22 years of age James became the father of John Roy Farrell in Alexandria, VA, April 28, 1947. At 24 years of age James became the father of James Robert Farrell Jr. in Washington, DC, March 10, 1949. At 27 years of age James became the father of Margaret Grace Farrell in Arlington, VA, August 11, 1952. At 34 years of age James became the father of Thomas Lee Farrell in Arlington, VA, April 27, 1959. James Robert was born in Washington, DC. His parents separated when he was five (5). His mother died of unknown illness when he was fifteen (15). He lived with the Bertolini and Fones families after his Mother's death until he enlisted in the Navy, September, 1942, at age seventeen (17), and served in the South Pacific on LST crafts. After the war, he meet Grace Nichols in Washington, DC. They married after a whirlwind romance.

James Robert Farrell and Grace Elizabeth Nichols had the following children:

child 75 iii. Margaret Grace Farrell was born in Arlington, VA August 11, 1952. She married Robert George Stokley in Falls Church, VA, June 2, 1973. Robert was born in Cleveland, OH May 5, 1951. Robert is the son of Robert Byram Stokley and Doris Marie Ware. At 28 years of age Robert became the father of Bradley Robert Stokley in St Agnes Hospital, Baltimore, MD, July 1, 1979. At 31 years of age Robert became the father of Kenton Blaine Stokley in Fairfax Hospital, Fairfax, VA, April 3, 1983. (See Robert George Stokley for the continuation of this line.)

At 26 years of age Margaret became the mother of Bradley Robert Stokley in St Agnes Hospital, Baltimore, MD, July 1, 1979. At 30 years of age Margaret became the mother of Kenton Blaine Stokley in Fairfax Hospital, Fairfax, VA, April 3, 1983.
