First Generation

1. George Washington1 Oliff was born 1867. George died 1941 at 74 years of age.

He married four times. He married Martha Ellen Jenkins. Martha became the mother of Mary Oliff 1895. Martha became the mother of Martha Elizabeth Oliff 1896. Martha became the mother of James Theodore Oliff in Virginia, 1902. Martha became the mother of India Grace Oliff 1905. He married Mattie Jenkins. Mattie became the mother of George Carter Oliff Warsaw, VA, October 2, 1914. Mattie was the niece of Martha Ellen Jenkins, the first wife of George W Oliff.

He married Dolly Yeatman. He married Ruth Perkins.

At 28 years of age George became the father of Mary Oliff 1895. At 29 years of age George became the father of Martha Elizabeth Oliff 1896. At 35 years of age George became the father of James Theodore Oliff in Virginia, 1902. At 38 years of age George became the father of India Grace Oliff 1905. At 47 years of age George became the father of George Carter Oliff Warsaw, VA, October 2, 1914.

George Washington Oliff and Martha Ellen Jenkins had the following children:

child 2 i. Mary2 Oliff was born 1895. Mary died 1915 at 20 years of age. Her body was interred 1915 in Rappahannock Baptist Church. She married Ashby Heflin. Ashby became the father of George Heflin 1914. Ashby became the father of James Ashley Heflin January 7, 1915. (See Ashby Heflin for the continuation of this line.)

At 19 years of age Mary became the mother of George Heflin 1914. At 19 years of age Mary became the mother of James Ashley Heflin January 7, 1915.

child 3 ii. Martha Elizabeth Oliff was born 1896. Martha died 1965 at 69 years of age. Her body was interred 1965 in Rappahannock Baptist Church. She married Frank Smith. His body was interred in Rappahannock Baptist Church. Frank became the father of Evertt Smith 1917. Frank became the father of Ernest W. Smith 1919.

At 23 years of age Martha became the mother of Ernest W. Smith 1919.

child + 4 iii. James Theodore Oliff was born 1902.

child 5 iv. India Grace Oliff was born 1905. India died October 21, 1940 in Washington, DC, at 35 years of age. India died of unknown illness. She is buried at the Rappahannock Baptist Church, Montross, Richmond County, VA. Her body was interred 1940 in Rappahannock Baptist Church. She married Robert Plowden Farrell in Washington, DC, 1924.

Robert was born in Milestown, MD 1903. Robert was the son of George N Farrell and Mary Delvenia Russell. Robert died December 26, 1973 at 70 years of age. Plowden died of heart attack and is buried in National Gardens Cemetary, Falls Church, VA.

His body was interred 1973 in Falls Church, VA, National Gardens Cemetary. At 21 years of age Robert became the father of James Robert Farrell in Washington, DC, January 31, 1925. At 24 years of age Robert became the father of Lee Roy Farrell Washington, DC, December 17, 1927. Lee was born in Washington, DC. His parents separated when he was three (3). His mother died when he was thirteen (13). He enlisted in the Navy at age sixteen (16) by lying about his age.

Robert was separated from his wife, India Grace Oliff in Washington, DC, 1930. (See Robert Plowden Farrell for the continuation of this line.)

At 19 years of age India became the mother of James Robert Farrell in Washington, DC, January 31, 1925. At 22 years of age India became the mother of Lee Roy Farrell Washington, DC, December 17, 1927. Lee was born in Washington, DC. His parents separated when he was three (3). India was separated from her husband, Robert Plowden Farrell in Washington, DC, 1930.
